Prime acquired the James R. Thompson Center in downtown Chicago, Illinois from the State of Illinois. The 1.3 million square foot property will be completely gut-renovated including replacement of the curtainwall, all MEP/FP systems, and floor by floor office and amenity finishes. The project includes the redesign and expansion of the current retail areas, atrium, and streetscape, and will feature numerous new retailers. The project is expected to be completed in the first half of 2025.
